Prior to Susa, Chad served on the management team at Integrate.com as the Sr. Director of Platform, managing the buildout and sales of AdHQ, a unified platform that allowed agencies and brands to manage all of their performance advertising spend through a single dashboard. While in operating roles, Chad was also an active angel investor, building a portfolio of close to 10 companies including Momentum Machines, Locality (Centzy), and True&co.
Before Integrate, Chad spent close to four years at Silver Spring Networks, a leading Smart Grid technology provider. He started in Strategic Marketing, building business models for the adoption of the technology by electric utility companies, and eventually ended up writing and leading a winning $15M Department of Energy grant to build the world's first Smart Grid-enabled residential solar inverters. Before Silver Spring, Chad spent time at Bloom Energy, a high profile venture-backed fuel cell company.
Eva is a serial entrepreneur and founder, most recently a founding executive at Factual, a leading location data provider in Los Angeles. Prior, she was a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Google and Youtube for 5 years. Prior to Google, she was the head of marketing for Applied Semantics, a company that sold to Google in 2003. She also co-founded Navigating Cancer, a health startup, in 2008 which is now based in Seattle. She is deeply involved in supporting entrepreneurs in her role as advisor/mentor at WebFWD, MuckerLab, Common Crawl, and newMe Accelerator. She is also active in the non-profit sector, serving on the boards of First Descents, Iridescent and Whole Child LA. As the co-chair at Iridescent, she focuses on building STEM literacy and capacity for the underserved K-12 population. Eva holds an MBA from Cornell and a BA from Harvard.
In 2003, Leo was the 2nd non-founding engineer at LinkedIn, where he helped build many core features like LinkedIn Jobs and LinkedIn Groups. After LinkedIn, he developed payment fraud detection systems at Google, then spent four years building much of the core data processing infrastructure at Factual. Leo left Factual in late 2012 to join Susa Ventures and focus on venture capital. He's also an angel investor in companies including DataFox, Lumoid, and Momentum Machines. Leo holds a BS with Honors degree from Caltech, and in 2002, he was one of three members of Caltech's world finalist ACM International Programming Contest team.
Seth is an active seed investor with over 50 companies in his portfolio, including Nest, Optimizely, Hipmunk, Parse, Backtype, and Docker.
Prior to Susa, Seth worked at The Richemont Group, doing strategic marketing across their brand portfolio for nine years. Richemont is a publicly traded company on the Swiss stock exchange (CFR:VX) which owns luxury brands that include Cartier, Mont Blanc, and Chloe. Seth used non-traditional marketing tactics to grow brands by creating cultural awareness and purpose behind Richemont products. He has worked with Richemont’s investments doing idea exchange and re-focusing management with strategic planning.
His previous experience includes launching Formula 1 Racing in the United States. While in college, as a result of experience growing up as a competitive mogul skier, he started a successful ski magazine that is still in publication today called Freeskier. Seth graduated from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business in 2000.
